Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor, producer and director who works in television and film. Her acting career began in the theater. She then appeared in various television series, independent films and mainstream film. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also a number of nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work is highlighted by her performances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. In the world of television, her role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her praises.
