Also, she can be seen in Tyler Perry's smash film, Why Did I Get Married? Perry, Janet Jackson and the independent film Frozen Peas are all starring alongside her. She has also appeared in Shattered! Never Die Alone as well as American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha when she graduated. Keesha chose to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. She performed in Carousel, the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the interactive show Eat the Runt. Other theatre performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles on stage and the screen, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" as well as the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha was the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll. Also, she has a variety of original projects in construction. With the great success of her album "Santa Baby", she is even developing a full length album that will showcase her stunning voice.
